We will not have CAB in July or August, then have a big "Back to School Bash" in September. Date TBA.
OUTREACHES OF VICTORY
We have just started home groups here at Victory called CareNet Connection! There are seven groups to chose from. They meet bi-weekly and each group is on a different night of the week. Please contact the church office for more info: 351-8300. Since we will be focusing on getting these groups up and running, there are no special events planned for the near future.
In May of 2008, through an amazing chain of events in preparing to lead a VCF prayer journey to Washington D.C., Pastor Brian was afforded the privilege of opening that day's session of the United States Senate in prayer. After that journey, the Lord made it clear that specific prayer for the Senate and other areas of the federal government were to be an assignment from Heaven for VCF. Please join us in this bipartisan admonishment, as scripture urges, "First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority..." (1Tim. 2:1) God wants His people to prioritize prayer for their leaders. May we faithfully do so!
